- Design and create test automation frameworks for DRI websites and Timeshare Management system; update automation test script library, as needed.
- Execute test automation scripts using the latest Automation Tools: Selenium IDE/ Webdriver, UFT/ QTP, and Visual Studio for weekly releases; and as requested.
- Conduct Performance and Load testing on an as needed basis.
- Conduct cross browser testing, responsive design testing, and compatibility tests on various browsers, operating systems, hardware, and devices.
- Work closely with QA Analysts to learn business processes, test cases and test scripts to translate into automation scripts.
- Identify, analyze, and report negative test results.
- Responsible for the overall success of the automation process- provide process improvement suggestions, training, and support to the QA team.
- Participate in SCRUM and project review meetings.
- Learn DRI proprietary timeshare management system and website software applications, and the Business Process that drives them.
- Perform black box testing, as required.
- Perform Database validation by executing PL/SQL queries to extract and validate test data.
- Familiar with QA industry’s concepts, best practices and procedures.
Education/ Experience
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or related degree.
- 2+ years of direct QA experience in web based applications and or client server applications.
- Knowledge and experience in programming languages: Java, Javascript, C#, and PL/SQL.
- Experience in any of the QA automation tools: Selenium Webdriver, QTP/UFT, and Visual Studio.
- Experienced in RDBMS (MS SQL Server, Oracle) and SQL queries.
- Must have excellent communication, written, listening and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills.
- Experience in Waterfall and Agile/ SCRUM methodologies.
- Must be detail oriented and able to multi-task.
- Experience in hospitality, a plus.
