General Job Duties

Works product maintenance task queues to create and maintain master data in billing and sales systems
Follows defined processes to maintain correct and accurate master data (proper identification, standardization, and classification) for transaction processing in key systems; meets agreed upon internal Service Level Agreements (SLA)
Applies data management and governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability of IHS Markit master data
Identifies and conducts basis analysis of data quality issues and resolves them as assigned
Develops business reports using various internal business applications
Collaborates with stakeholder groups, providing support and education around product master data standards, definitions, processes, policies, and tools
Creates process documentation and performs stakeholder training as assigned

Desired Experience/Skills

Experience with SAP ERP and Salesforce applications
Extensive use of MS Excel including ability to create pivot tables
General experience with other MS applications including Access, PowerPoint, and Word
Experience in master data management (MDM) is highly desired
Independent, resourceful, and a quick learner who, once trained, normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work and requires only high-level instruction on new assignments
Ability to prioritize tasks, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail
A strong interest in innovation
Demonstrates good judgment; applies logic and creativity to form solutions; acts decisively when solutions are identified
Goal oriented with focus to meet or exceed established quality standards within scheduled timeframes
Superb communication skills (verbal & written) with desire to collaborate and influence across the organization
