Responsibilities

Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage plan
Lead, guide and monitor the analysis, design, implementation and execution of the test cases, test procedures and test suites
Coordinate test execution with project management, development, business, and other internal departments
Detect, Log and track software defects and inconsistencies
Report bugs and errors to development teams and take ownership of getting them fixed.
Familiarity with Agile frameworks is a plus
Test management tools (JIRA, Confluence and Zephyr)
Act as key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases, providing QA services and coordinating QA resources.
Solid understanding of database structures and can write simple SQL statements
Has worked in a team of more than 10 engineers and is a good team player
Establish and evolve formal QA processes, ensuring that the team is using industry-accepted best practices and highlight risks.
Interpersonal skills - Need to constantly communicate with upper management and other teams on the project. Should be good at interpersonal verbal, oral, and written communication
Throughout all phases of product development, QA leads report progress, plans, and problems to upper management.
