Job Description
Vowcare Products is seeking a Quality Control Manager to oversee and ensure the highest standards of pharmaceutical product quality at our manufacturing plant. The QC Manager will be responsible for managing the quality control team, implementing stringent testing procedures, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement in product quality.
Key Responsibilities:1. Quality Control & Compliance:
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure compliance with GMP, WHO-GMP, and regulatory standards.
- Monitor raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products for compliance with quality specifications.
- Ensure strict adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality guidelines.
- Oversee stability studies and ensure proper documentation.
2. Laboratory & Testing Oversight
- Supervise chemical, microbiological, and physical testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Ensure proper calibration and validation of laboratory equipment.
- Monitor environmental controls and sterility testing in manufacturing areas.
3. Team Leadership & Training
- Lead a team of QC analysts, microbiologists, and technicians.
- Conduct training programs on quality control, regulatory updates, and best practices.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality awareness.
4. Regulatory & Documentation Management
- Maintain and review quality records, batch records, COAs (Certificates of Analysis), and stability reports.
- Handle regulatory inspections, audits, and customer quality assurance visits.
- Implement CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) for quality deviations.
5. Supplier & Raw Material Quality Assurance
- Evaluate and approve raw material suppliers and vendors.
- Conduct quality audits of third-party manufacturers and suppliers.
- Ensure consistency in API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) and excipient quality.
6. Continuous Improvement & Risk Management
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Investigate quality issues, deviations, and product complaints, ensuring quick resolution.
- Establish risk assessment models to mitigate quality-related risks.
