Rabindra Bharati University (RBU) invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor

1. Name of the Post: Assistant Professor (Full-time Contractual) Specialisation: H.I. for the Department of Disability Studies purely on a temporary basis.

2. No of Post: 01 (One)

3. Essential Qualification:

(i) Masters's Degree in any discipline with not less than 50% of marks (as per the RCI norms and UGC Regulations, Gazette dated September 18, 2010 section 1.1.1)

(ii) M.Ed. Degree in a specific disability area (HI) with not less than 55% of marks or an equivalent grade of B+ on ’10 point scale’ of UGC from a recognized University/Institute. or An equivalent degree from a foreign university recognized by RCI.

(iii) Valid Registration with RCI, u/s 19 of RCI Act, 1992 is essential.

4. Desirable Qualification:

(i) M.Phil/Ph.D in Special Education or Education with research emphasis on Special Education.

(ii) Experience for a period of at least 2 years as a teacher or researcher in the area of a specific disability.

5. Specialisation: In H.I. as per RCI norms.

6. Pay: Rs.40,000/-(consolidated) per month.

Age Limit:

Not more than 55 years as of 01/01/2022.

Rs.500/-[in case of SC/ST/ Differently-abled (Physically as well as Visually)]and Rs.1000/-[for other candidates]payable in Demand Draft in favor of RABINDRA BHARATI UNIVERSITY payable at ‘KOLKATA’.
