Job Description

  • Interpret architectural and engineering drawings to create rebar shop drawings.
  • Design and detail reinforcement for concrete structures (e.g., foundations, walls, slabs, beams).
  • Develop bar bending schedules and material takeoffs.
  • Create 2D and 3D models using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD,).
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to resolve design issues.
  • Ensure compliance with ACI (American Concrete Institute) codes and industry standards.
  • Review and verify drawings for accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain project documentation and revision control.
  • Strong understanding of rebar design principles and industry standards .
  • Experience with rebar detailing software
  • Collaborate with architects and engineers to integrate architectural and structural components seamlessly.
