Qualification
PGTs (Biology, Hindi, Commerce, English and History) : I. Two Years Integrated Post Graduate Course of Regional Institute of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject; or Master's Degree from a recognized University with at least 50 % marks in aggregate and in concerned subject. 2. B.Ed. or equivalent qualification from recognized University. 3. Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium.
Desirable : Knowledge of Computer Applications
PGT (Engineering Graphic) (Any one of the following) : I. Master's Degree in Drawing & Painting with a recognized Diploma /Certificate of minimum one year duration provided the person has studied Geometrical and Mechanical Drawing in his courses. 2. Graduate in Engineering from a recognized University or Institute established by law or an equivalent degree. 3. Graduate in Architecture from a recognized University or Institute established by law, provided he/she offered Geometrical and Mechanical Drawing as one of the subject in Higher Secondary or equivalent course. 4. Graduate from a recognized University with Drawing/Fine Arts and possessing Drawing Teacher Diploma /Certificate of minimum 2 years duration provided he/she has studied Geometrical and Mechanical Drawing in Graduation and /or Teachers Diploma /Certificate.
Counselor : Master Degree in Psychology from recognized College/University + Regular one year Post Graduate Diploma in guidance and Counselling OR Master Degree with B.Ed/ M.Ed. + Regular one year Post Graduate Diploma in guidance and Counseling.
TGTs/WETs (Urdu. Home Science, Science (PCB), Hindi, English, Mathematics, Gujrati, Agriculture, Computer Science & Music) : 1. Four Years Integrated Degree Course of Regional Institutes of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50 % Marks in aggregate and in the concemed subject. OR Bachelor's Degree with atleast 50 % marks in aggregate and in the concemed subjects and B.Ed. or equivalent qualification from recognized University. B.Ed. is not compulsory for the posts of TGT Music and Computer Science. Preference will be given to the candidates who qualified CTET. 2. Proficiency in Teaching in Hindi and English medium.
Desirable : Knowledge of Computer Applications.
TGT (Physical Education) : Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) - Four Years Degree Course OR Three Years Graduation + One Year B.P.Ed. Diploma OR B.Sc. Physical Education; Health Education & Sports + One Year B.P.Ed. Diploma
For WET (Radio & Electricity & Wood work) : B.Sc. (Tech. Ed) from an Institute recognized by the Govt. OR Degree in concerned trade from a recognized University. OR Three Years diploma after Hr. Sec./Sr. Sec/ in concerned recognized by the Govt.
WET (ET Lab) : MCA/M.Sc. in Computer Science. Experience in Handling of Audio, Video equipments
Primary Teacher : a) Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent and JBT/STC/B.Ed (child development)./B.EI.Ed. Preference will be given to the candidates who qualified CTET. b) Proficiency in Teaching in Hindi and English medium Knowledge of Computer Applications.
Pre-Primary Teacher : Senior Secondary School Certificate or equivalent Diploma/Certificate in Nursery teacher education programme of a duration of not less than two years or B.Ed. (Nursery).
Desirable : Knowledge of Hindi; and Experience as Nursery Teacher
Pre-Primary Helper Teacher : 12th Pass Having good understanding of children in the age group of 3-6 years and capable of handing children in various kind or work in the school.

The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) was established in 1961 by the Ministry of Education, Government of India to prepare quality teachers in Science, Humanities, Commerce, Agriculture and Technology. Consequently, four Regional Colleges of Education at Ajmer, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar and Mysore were established as constituents units of NCERT. Regional College of Education, Ajmer was set up in the year 1963. Later it was renamed as Regional Institute of Education (RIE), Ajmer in the year 1995. It looks after the educational interests of Northern Region comprising the states of Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttaranchal, Uttar Pradesh, the National Capital Territory of Delhi and the Union Territory of Chandigarh.
