Job Description

Supervise daily fuel dispensing and sales activities.

Monitor stock levels through dip readings, meter records, and ERP entries.

Place timely indents with oil company and manage fuel tanker unloading.

Ensure smooth functioning of all equipment (dispensers, POS, DG sets, etc.).
-
Recruit, train, and monitor attendants, cashiers, and helpers.
-
Prepare and maintain staff duty rosters.
-
Monitor discipline, grooming, and performance of employees.
-
Prevent malpractices, pilferage, and ensure staff honesty.
-
Verify daily cash collections, UPI/card transactions, and credit slips.
-
Ensure timely deposit of cash into the bank.
-
Maintain records for credit customers and ensure payment recovery.
-
Coordinate with the accountant for GST, TDS, and audit compliance.
-
Ensure fast, polite, and honest customer service at all times.
-
Resolve disputes and complaints promptly.
-
Develop corporate/credit customer relationships.
-
Promote upselling of lubricants, accessories, and allied services.
-
Adhere to PESO regulations, Weights & Measures Act, and government norms.
-
Conduct fuel quality checks and maintain test registers.
-
Implement fire safety and pollution control measures.
-
Maintain statutory registers and ensure readiness for inspections/audits.
-
Submit daily/weekly/monthly sales and stock reports to the owner.
-
Coordinate with oil company officials, vendors, and local authorities.
-
Assist in audits, inspections, and government verifications.
-
Strong leadership and staff management skills.
-
Knowledge of petrol pump operations and compliance requirements.
-
Financial and accounting skills (Tally/ERP/Excel preferred).
-
Customer handling and problem-solving skills.
-
High integrity, discipline, and trustworthiness.
-
Ability to work long hours, including weekends/holidays.
-
Graduate (B.Com/BBA/MBA preferred).
-
3–7 years of experience in retail/fuel operations/FMCG.
-
Experience in handling stock, cash, compliance, and team leadership.
-
Based at the petrol pump premises.
-
Shift-based supervision; requires availability during emergencies.
-
Responsible for safe operations, staff discipline, and financial accountability.
