National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS) invites application for the position Research Assistant
Project entitled: “Understanding and estimating the prevalence of perceived high support needs among persons with benchmark disabilities and their family caregivers- A community-based study”
No. of Post : One Post
Educational Qualification: M. Phil Psychiatric Social worker Or MSW with experience of working in a mental health setting. Proficiency in Kannada speaking and writing is essential.
Desirable: Knowledge of severe mental disorders, experience of conducting research with patient, carers or healthcare staff. Basic computer knowledge
Description of work : Has to visit homes of persons with disabilities residing within Chikkaballapur district for conducting home based interviews. This work involves frequent travel within Chikkaballapur District
Emoluments: 25,000/- p.m. (Consolidated).
Duration of the employment: 10 months. Initial appointment will be made for 6 months, extendable based on the performance of the candidate
Age Limit: Maximum age limit 35 Years
