Project entitled: “Transmission: direct measurement
of sandfly infection” sponsored by London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, UK and funded by “Bill &
Melinda Gates Foundation”
1. Research Assistant/1 Post
Qualification: M.Sc. in Zoology (First Class)
Desirable Experience Preference will be given to those having two years experience in field of sand fly work.
Pay Scale : Rs. 31,000/- (Consolidated)
Age: 30 Years
2. Research Assistant/1 Post
Qualification: M.Sc. in Life Sciences (First Class)
Desirable Experience : Preference will be given to those having two years experience in molecular biological work.
Pay Scale : Rs. 31,000/- (Consolidated)
Age: 30 Years
3. Insect Collector /2 Posts
Qualification: High School* or equivalent with one year experience in related field from Govt. institution or recognized institute or certificate of one year training in the relevant area or ITI or National Trade certificate of National council for Vocational Training and successful completion of ATS in relevant trade from a Government recognized board. *Intermediate with science will be treated as two years experience.
Desirable Experience :Two years experience in field based insect collection. For candidate having more than 2 years experience particularly in sandfly collection age may be relaxed.
Pay Scale : Rs. 16000
Age: 25 Years
