Research Associate Biotechnology Job position in National Bureau of Animal Genetic Resources on Contractual basis.

Title : “Genome data mining to unravel molecular basis of thermotolerance and adaptation to diverse environments in native cattle and buffaloes '

Essential Qualifications: PhD degree in any discipline/subject of Biotechnology/Animal Genetics & Breeding/ Biochemistry/Bioinformatics/Life Sciences/Zoology/Animal Physiology OR Master degree in any one of the above mentioned discipline/Subject with 4 years/5 years of Bachelor’s degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average with at least two years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/Associateship /training /other engagement. Candidates having post graduate degree in above mentioned subjects with 3 years Bachelor’s degree must have qualified UGC/ CSIR/ ICAR NET or equivalent as per the ICAR guidelines. Desirable: Working experience in Molecular Biology, gene expression/ NGS based genomic and transcriptomic data analysis, SNP genotyping and sequencing, mammalian cell culture handling.
