Duration: Six months.

Research Associate 

Job Description:  Collating, reviewing, and synthesizing extant empirical and theoretical literature in areas of ethnic fragmentation, economic development, and discrimination (in India and elsewhere) ,Developing econometric framework and sound analyses plans for research forming part of the book and executing them in a timely and robust manner using a variety of data sources, Assisting in preparation of datasets, presentations, and statistical software programs (particularly Stata).

Qualification, Experience & Competency Requirements: Master’s Degree in any discipline will suffice.  Candidates must be proficient with Stata (version 12 onward). The candidate should be fluent in English communication, should be able to problem solve independently and efficiently, and should be flexible to work as per the research requirements. The candidate should be flexible to travel occasionally and to work beyond standard working hours

Salary & Allowances:  Selected candidate will be offered a fixed term appointment for a period of six months on a consolidated monthly salary as per IIMA norms. The contract may be extended further as per the mutual convenience.
