Research Associate-I (Post Code: RA) /1 post
Qualification: PhD in Engineering (Mechanical /Metallurgy /Thermal) OR ME/M.Tech in Engg. (Mechanical/ Metallurgy /Thermal) with minimum 55% marks and 2 years of experience. Desirable: Expertise/strong knowledge of CFD and programming (C/C++). At least one research paper in Science Citation indexed (SCI) journal.
Pay Scale: Rs.36000

Junior Research Fellow (Project) (Post Code: JRF1)/1 Post
Qualification: M.Sc in Mathematics/ Computer Science with minimum 55% marks and NET qualification OR BE/B.Tech in Mechanical/ Metallurgy with minimum 55% marks and valid GATE score OR M.Tech./ ME in Mechanical/ Metallurgy. Desirable: Strong knowledge/ experience in CFD and programming (C/C++).Hands-on experience with commercial/Open Source software such as OpenFOAM/ANSYS/FLOW3D etc.

Place of posting: The selected candidates will be posted at CSIR-NIIST, Thiruvananthapuram. However, they will have to travel to other institutes during the project duration as and when required.
Venue of interview: The shortlisted candidates will have to report at IIT Bombay, for written test/interview on the date & time which will be mentioned in their call letter.
