Education and Qualifications Essential : A postgraduate degree (or equivalent) in a discipline relevant to climate change mitigation.
Experience and Knowledge Essential : Experience and achievement in a field relevant to climate change mitigation. Experience of working in an international environment. Demonstrated success in delivering research outputs, including literature review, statistical analysis, and technical reports.
Desirable : Experience working in an interdisciplinary research environment Skills and Abilities Essential: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. High level analytical capability. Commitment to working in an interdisciplinary environment. The ability to identify potential issues before they arise. Creative approach to problem solving. Understanding of and respect for disciplinary approaches other than their own. The ability to work sensitively with those from different cultures. The ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of seniority. The capacity to gain the respect of senior scientists. Good interpersonal skills, a high level of professionalism and a proactive approach to work.The ability to work as part of a team. The ability to work independently, use initiative and prioritise work. Ability to set and work to deadlines and willingness to work under pressure from time to time in order to meet deadlines. Computer literacy and the ability to use relevant software: Outlook (email and calendars); spreadsheets and databases (Excel); presentations (PowerPoint); and referencing software.

Salary Range: Rs. 50000- 60000
Key Responsibilities: To assume responsibility for several chapters of the main WG-III assessment report and, if required, any special report within their area of competence, and providing support to the author teams. To work in coordination with the WGIII Co-chairs and TSU to support tasks related to IPCC AR6.
