Project Title : Elucidating the mechanism and assessing amelioration potential of Ocimum and Lucas in stress-induced impaired homeostasis on growth and reproduction in Zebrafish.

Essential qualification : With Doctoral Degree: Ph.D in Zoology or Fish Biology, OR With Master's Degree: Master's degree in Fish Biology or allied disciplines with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor's degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average, with at least two years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/ Associateship/Training/other engagements as circulated vide F.No. 2-9/2012-HRD dated 25.04.2014. 

Desirable qualification: Previous research experience on zebrafish as evidenced from publications.

Senior Research Fellow/2

Essential qualification : Master's Degree in relevant subject with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor's degree, OR Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor's degree and 2 years Master's degree in Zoology (with specialization in Fish Biology/Reproductive Physiology/Endocrinology/Molecular Biology) should have minimum 55% marks in M.Sc.(relaxable as per the norms of Government of India)) and NET qualification as mentioned in OM SR/S9/Z-09/2012 of DST 21.10.2014. 

Age limit : Must not be over 28 years for SRF as on 31 March, 2017 (relaxable as per the norms of Government of India). For RA, maximum age limit preferably within 35 as on 31 March, 2017.

Fellowship amount : Rs. 40000 + HRA for la, 2nd and 314 year for RA, Rs. 25000 + HRA (as per ICAR guidelines) for SRF for and 2nd year. Rs. 28000 + HRA for 3rd year on satisfactory work during the first two years.
