Essential: M.Sc(Ag.) in Agronomy/Soil Science/Microbiology/Remote sensing and GIS/Geo‐informatics/Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry/Biotechnology/Environmental Science/Plant Physiology/Forestry/Horticulture OR Ph. D in any discipline of Agril. Science OR Master degree in basic science(Botany/Biotechnology/Microbiolo gy/Physiology/Geograohy) with NET /GATE qualifications with two years’ research experience (As per ICAR guide line F.No.Agril. Edn6/27/2014‐HRD, dated 9th October, 2015) Desirable:‐03 years’ work experience in relevant field supported by publications.
Pay Scale : Rs. 40000
Maximum age as on 01.07.2017:40 yrs. for men and 45 yrs. for women

one of the Institutes of the ICAR under the Division of Crop Sciences.
The Institute has two research stations- Central Rainfed Upland Rice
Research Station (CRURRS), Hazaribagh, in Jharkhand, and the Regional
Rainfed Lowland Rice Research Station (RRLRRS), Gerua, in Assam. These
research stations were established to tackle the problems of rainfed
uplands, and flood prone rainfed lowlands, respectively.
