Qualification : Master's
Degree from a Recognized University in Social Science/ Law/ Commerce/ Management
with at least good second class (55% & above marks).
Experience : (i) 1-2 years experience of conducting
research, data collection, analysis, report writing etc. will be preferred.
(ii) Proficiency in English with excellent writing skills and knowledge of
computer. (iii) Preference will be given to M.Phi/Ph.D holders.
Remuneration : Rs.25,000-29,000/- p.m. (Consolidated).

This was the intention of the visionary Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru when he established the Indian Institute of Public Administration on March 29, 1954 based on the recommendations of a survey carried out in 1953 by Dean Paul H. Appleby, a Consultant with the Ford Foundation invited to advise on the subject, by the Government of India.
