ICRISAT invites applications from dynamic and Indian nationals for the post of Research Technician – Genebank/Scientific Officer – Genebank. This position is based at ICRISAT Headquarters, Patancheru, Telangana State, India.

Research Technician – Genebank

Qualification: Science graduate,Preference will be given to those with experience of 2-3 years working on ICRISAT mandate crops germplasm. Fluency in English (both written and spoken). Proficiency in Computer skills(MS-Office), Should be a good team player and adaptable to working in multicultural team

General: This is a Locally Recruited Staff (LRS) position for three years and renewable based on the performance of the incumbent and funding availability, and the Institute’s continuing need for the position.

Scientific Officer – Genebank.

Requirements: Masters in Science preferably, preference will be given to those with three years’ experience in regeneration and characterization of germplasm of ICRISAT mandate crops including wild relatives, or with specialization in Botany/Genetic Resources/Genetics and Plant Breeding/ Seed Technology, with 2-3 years of experience.Proficiency in English communication skills (both written and spoken).Expertise in Computer skills (MS-Office, data analysis).Data analysis using statistical packages. Should be a good team player and adaptable to working in multicultural team.
