Job Description
- We are looking for a candidate with minimum 1 year of experience in resolution of Non-Performing Financial Assets or Corporate Distressed Debt acquired from Banks.
- This person would come from an Asset Reconstruction Company or stressed Asset Branch of an ARC or from the debt resolution agencies.
- Complete post acquisition formalities such as registration of assignment agreement, filing of modification of charge, CERSAI Registration, send intimation letters to borrower and file substitution application in any pending litigation.
- Formulate strategy for the resolution of asset i.e. determining whether to restructure the account or settle with the borrower or whether recoveries will come from sale of assets.
- Negotiate settlements and restructuring proposals with the borrower.
- Prepare resolution plan and presented it to the asset resolution committee.
- Coordinate legal proceedings and brief lawyers for arguments in the following forums; Debt Recovery Tribunal, Debt Recovery Appellate Tribunal, High Court and Supreme Court all around India.
- Conduct SARFAESI action/proceedings by sending demand notice and replying to any objections and thereafter applying to magistrate to take possession of properties.
- Publish sale notices and identify potential buyers for the properties.
