Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our jewellery store team. The ideal candidate will provide outstanding service, drive sales, and help customers find meaningful and elegant jewellery pieces. A flair for luxury sales and strong product knowledge are essential.
Working hours: 10:30 to 8pm

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service & Sales:

Greet customers warmly as they enter the store and understand their needs through attentive listening.
Showcase various jewellery items such as gold, silver, platinum, diamond, and gemstone products, explaining specifications and pricing.
Suggest suitable options based on customer preferences, budget, and occasion (e.g., wedding, gifting, daily wear).
Assist customers with product comparisons, selection, sizing, and final decisions.
Build rapport with customers to encourage repeat visits and customer loyalty.

2. Product Knowledge:

Gain deep knowledge of jewellery types, purity standards (e.g., 22K, 18K), hallmarking, certifications, and pricing structures.
Stay updated on the latest designs, offers, and seasonal collections.
Educate customers about care instructions, maintenance tips, and buy-back or exchange policies.

3. Billing and Documentation:

Coordinate with the cashier or back office to generate invoices accurately.
Ensure product codes, weights, purity levels, and prices are correctly billed.
Assist with GST billing, loyalty program registration, and EMI options if available.

4. Inventory Management & Display:

Ensure products are neatly arranged in showcases with proper labels and tags.
Maintain daily stock records, return unsold items to the vaults, and report any discrepancies to the store manager.
Monitor product movement and assist in periodic stock audits.
Handle the jewellery with care, ensuring safety and cleanliness.

5. Security and Compliance:

Follow store policies for product handling, trial procedures, and safety checks.
Maintain vigilance for any suspicious activity and follow security protocols during high-value transactions.
Ensure customer KYC is completed when required for high-value purchases.

6. Team Collaboration:

Work closely with other sales team members to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
Assist during promotional events, festive sales, or new collection launches.
Share customer feedback and product insights with the store manager and merchandising team.
