Job Description
Position Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and persuasive Sales Counselor to handle inbound and outbound inquiries for Catking’s MBA courses. The candidate will be responsible for understanding the various programs offered by the company and effectively counseling prospective students to convert leads into confirmed enrollments.
The role demands excellent communication skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to work towards sales targets with motivation driven by fixed salary plus target-based incentives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Management & Sales Conversion

Respond promptly to inbound inquiries via calls, emails, or chats related to MBA courses.

Initiate outbound calls to prospective students based on lead lists or campaigns.

Understand and explain Catking’s MBA course offerings, including features, benefits, and career prospects.

Conduct personalized counseling sessions to address students’ career goals and course suitability.

Guide students through the enrollment process, answering questions and resolving concerns.

Convert inquiries and prospects into confirmed course admissions by building trust and rapport.
2. Product Knowledge & Updates

Maintain thorough knowledge of all MBA courses, curriculum updates, fees, and admission criteria.

Stay updated on industry trends and competitive educational offerings to better assist students.

Provide feedback to the marketing and academic teams on common queries and student preferences.
3. Target Achievement & Reporting

Work towards monthly and quarterly sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.

Maintain accurate records of all interactions, follow-ups, and admissions in the CRM system.

Provide regular reports on lead conversion rates, admission numbers, and sales progress to management.

Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and product knowledge.
4. Customer Relationship Management

Build lasting relationships with prospective students and their families to encourage positive word-of-mouth.

Follow up with prospects who have shown interest but have not yet enrolled.

Address student concerns promptly and escalate complex issues to supervisors when needed.
