Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. International Sales & Client Acquisition:

Identify and develop new business opportunities in international markets.

Generate leads through trade shows, digital outreach, B2B platforms (e.g., Alibaba, IndiaMART Global), and global networking.

Prepare customized proposals and pitch products to prospective overseas buyers, distributors, or importers.

Handle complete client onboarding, including negotiation, documentation, and first order execution.
2. Trade Regulations & Compliance:

Ensure all export activities adhere to international trade laws, customs rules, and export documentation standards.

Apply correct Incoterms (FOB, CIF, EXW, etc.) in pricing, contracts, and shipments based on buyer-country agreements.

Coordinate with internal teams to ensure compliance with export control regulations, shipping restrictions, and import duties.
3. Pricing Strategy & Competitive Analysis:

Develop competitive pricing models based on market trends, competitor analysis, and margin objectives.

Analyze international market demands, pricing dynamics, and foreign currency fluctuations.

Engage in contractual negotiations, finalize pricing terms, and ensure profitability in export deals.
4. Contract Handling & Deal Closure:

Draft and review commercial agreements, export contracts, and terms of sale.

Lead negotiations on pricing, credit terms, delivery schedules, and payment instruments (LCs, advance payments, etc.).

Coordinate final closure of deals with clear alignment across sales, logistics, and finance departments.
5. Shipment & Documentation Coordination:

Work with logistics, warehouse, and freight forwarding teams for on-time order dispatch.

Monitor shipping schedules, container booking, customs clearance, and bill of lading issuance.

Supervise documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and export declarations.
6. Inventory & Supply Chain Support:

Collaborate with production and warehouse teams for inventory planning and availability based on export orders.

Ensure order fulfillment aligns with export timelines and product quality standards.

Track order status and provide regular updates to clients on shipping, documentation, and ETA.
7. Post-Sales Relationship Management:

Maintain strong relationships with existing international clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Resolve post-sale issues such as shipping delays, discrepancies, or reorders professionally and promptly.

Collect customer feedback to improve product offering and customer satisfaction.
