Sales Executive
Job Description
Sales executive is the face of the company during the sales process .their primary goal is to generate the revenue by identifying prospects , building relationships and closing deals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Engagement & Vehicle Sales
-
Greet and assist walk-in customers in the showroom or dealership.

Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable vehicle models and variants.

Provide detailed product demonstrations, explain vehicle features, specifications, warranties, and pricing.

Offer test drives and ensure a comfortable, informative experience for the customer.

Address customer queries regarding finance, insurance, accessories, exchange offers, and documentation.
2. Lead Generation & Follow-Up
-
Generate leads through tele-calling, cold visits, digital platforms, referrals, and outdoor promotional activities.

Follow up with prospects via calls, emails, and SMS to convert inquiries into showroom visits and sales.

Maintain a lead database and update daily sales activity reports in CRM or logbooks.

Coordinate with marketing teams for campaigns, events, and exhibitions.
3. Sales Process & Documentation
-
Provide customers with quotations, proforma invoices, and negotiate pricing within company guidelines.
-
Guide customers through the entire buying process—from booking to vehicle delivery.
-
Coordinate with finance and insurance departments for loan processing and vehicle insurance.
-
Ensure all documentation (booking forms, ID proof, payment receipts) is completed accurately and submitted on time.
4. Delivery & After-Sales Coordination
-
Coordinate with the back-office and logistics team for timely vehicle delivery.

Ensure the customer receives the vehicle in excellent condition and understands its features before driving off.

Collect feedback post-delivery and maintain customer relationships for repeat sales or referrals.

Follow up for service reminders, vehicle renewals, or exchange offers.
5. Product Knowledge & Training

Stay updated with the latest product features, specifications, and pricing across all models and variants.

Learn about competitor models and market trends to assist in sales conversations and objections.
-
Attend regular training sessions and product briefings conducted by the dealership or manufacturer.
6. Target Achievement
-
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly individual sales targets (vehicle units, finance, insurance, accessories).
-
Work as part of a team to help the dealership achieve overall branch sales goals.

Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction to ensure good reviews and repeat business.
