ü Searching for new clients who could benefit from our products in a designated region
ü Travelling to visit potential clients
ü Establishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers
ü Managing and interpreting customer requirements
ü Persuading clients that a product or service will best satisfy their needs
ü Calculating client quotations
ü Negotiating tender and contract terms
ü Negotiating and closing sales by agreeing terms and conditions
ü Offering after-sales support services
ü Administering client accounts
ü Analyzing costs and sales
ü Preparing reports for head office
ü Meeting regular sales targets
ü Recording and maintaining client contact data
ü Co-coordinating sales projects
ü Supporting marketing by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
ü Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs
ü Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education
ü Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts
ü Solving client problems
ü Helping in the design of custom-made products
