Job Overview
A Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by leading a team of sales professionals, developing sales strategies, and building strong relationships with clients. Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy & Business Development
- Develop and implement sales plans and strategies to achieve business goals.
- Identify new market opportunities and expand the customer base.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trends.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
2. Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Recruit, train, and mentor sales executives and representatives.
- Set clear sales targets and KPIs for the team.
- Monitor individual and team performance, providing feedback and coaching.
- Foster a motivating and goal-oriented work environment.
3. Sales Operations & Process Management
- Oversee the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals.
- Manage CRM tools to track customer interactions and sales activities.
- Develop and maintain sales reports, forecasts, and budgets.
- Ensure timely follow-ups on leads, inquiries, and customer feedback.
4. Client Relationship Management
- Establish and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
- Address customer concerns and provide tailored solutions.
- Conduct regular meetings, presentations, and negotiations with clients.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the marketing team to align sales and promotional campaigns.
- Coordinate with product development to provide customer insights.
- Collaborate with the finance department to ensure proper pricing and revenue management.
6. Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure adherence to company policies and industry regulations.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, strengths, and areas for improvement.
- Present sales performance reports to senior management.
