The Polsani Group is the brainchild of Dr. Sudhakar Rao Polsani and Mrs. Rama Devi. Spread across India and abroad, the group is a result of in-depth research and understanding of various technologies and trends to give birth to innovation. The group has a strong hold in different sectors, which is the result of the hard work and expertise of the Polsani Board of Directors.
The Polsani Group first established itself in the education sector with the inauguration of the Vivekananda School of Management in Hyderabad and Vivekananda Residential School (CBSE affiliated) in Karimnagar, in 1983. A few years later, in 1989, Sister Nivedita School (SNS) was added to the list. SNS has branches in Hyderabad and Karimnagar today along with a specialized playschool.
In 1990, the Group spread its branches into the media sector with the establishment of Niha Communications, an advertising and corporate communications firm.
There was a spectacular turn of events in 1992 when Dr. Sudhakar Rao Polsani founded Country Oven, a leading bakery that has branches in Hyderabad, Warangal and in the USA. Six years later in 1998, Country Oven marked its presence on the web as the first online gifting portal in India. Countryoven.com started off as an e-commerce portal to connect hearts despite distance and it continues to grow rapidly to this day.
Simultaneously, the group’s reach in the educational sector strengthened with the launch of another institution, Sister Nivedita College of Professional Studies, in 1995. The institute delivers qualitative and cultured education to this day.
2005 marked the group’s main passion: the medical field. Niha Technologies was founded, which caters to medical coding needs of hospitals in the USA. The company has grown rapidly in a short period of time and runs operation from Hyderabad, Karimnagar, and the USA with about 200 employees on board.
The year 2008 saw a significant addition to the Polsani Group in the form of New Era Enviro Ventures, in the solar power sector. The venture was responsible for the implementation of the company’s first power plant in India. The company has setup and runs the 14 MW solar power plant in Jharkhand. Presently, the company is a part of the Premier Solar group that is on the verge of executing one of the largest solar power plants in India.
