Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate, energetic, and growth-oriented Sales Representative to join our expanding agro product sales team. This role is ideal for individuals looking to build a rewarding career in the agriculture sector while contributing directly to the success of farmers and agri-businesses.
As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling agro products such as seeds, fertilizers, crop protection products, and farm machinery within your assigned territory. You will be the face of the company to farmers, dealers, retailers, and agricultural institutions, delivering product knowledge, building relationships, and achieving sales goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Revenue Generation:

Promote and sell agro products to farmers, distributors, retailers, and agri-input dealers.

Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Identify new market opportunities and expand the customer base.
2. Territory Management:

Visit farms, markets, and dealer locations regularly to understand ground realities and ensure market coverage.

Plan and execute area-wise sales strategies based on crop seasons and customer needs.

Conduct field demonstrations, product trials, and promotional campaigns.
3. Customer Relationship Management:

Build long-term relationships with farmers and agri-dealers by providing consistent service and support.

Understand customer pain points, provide product recommendations, and help solve agronomic challenges.

Maintain a customer database and ensure timely follow-ups for repeat sales and feedback.
4. Product Knowledge & Technical Support:

Stay updated on the company’s product range, technical specifications, and competitive advantages.

Educate farmers and partners on correct product usage, benefits, and dosage.

Collaborate with the agronomy or R&D team for field demonstrations and training sessions.
5. Reporting & Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of sales calls, orders booked, payments collected, and market feedback.

Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales reports and share them with the reporting manager.

Track competitor activities and report pricing, product launches, or market trends.
