Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Salesperson who is proficient in Tally accounting software to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing sales, handling billing, and maintaining accurate accounting records. This role combines sales expertise with hands-on accounting and billing management, ensuring seamless customer transactions and efficient financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Customer Management:
Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide suitable product or service recommendations.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to achieve long-term loyalty and repeat business.
Meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
Billing and Accounting:
Manage billing operations, including preparing and issuing invoices using Tally.
Record and maintain accurate financial transactions, including sales, receipts, and payments.
Ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations while using Tally software.
Reconcile accounts, handle cash transactions, and prepare periodic financial reports as required.
Inventory and Order Management:
Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management.
Coordinate with the team to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
Administrative Support:
Maintain and organize sales and accounting records for easy retrieval.
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience in sales, preferably in a retail or B2B environment.
Proficiency in Tally ERP 9/accounting software is a desired trait.
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and billing processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in billing and accounting tasks.
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree in commerce, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
