Job Summary
As a Salesperson, you will be the face of our dessert shop. Your main responsibility will be to greet and serve customers, handle sales transactions, and ensure our products are presented well. You should be clean, courteous, and customer-focused, with a genuine interest in desserts and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities

Greet and welcome customers politely as they enter the shop

Explain menu items clearly, including cakes, brownies, and Tres Leches

Assist customers in selecting items and upsell when appropriate

Handle billing and cash/card payments accurately

Pack orders neatly and hygienically

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the counter and display area

Restock display shelves as needed

Coordinate with the kitchen team regarding product availability

Follow all food safety and hygiene guidelines

Handle customer queries and complaints patiently and professionally

Ensure discipline, punctuality, and a positive attitude at work
Requirements
-
Prior experience in retail or food service is a plus, but freshers are welcome

Must be well-mannered, clean, and disciplined

Good communication skills in Tamil (basic English is a bonus)

Basic math skills for handling billing and change

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

A friendly and energetic personality with a customer-first attitude

Must maintain personal hygiene and wear a clean uniform
