Qualification : i) Degree of a recognized university in Journalism/ Communications/ Social Sciences or Media/Film studies; ii) At least Three years’ experience in data collection/reference/documentation in an Organization connected with CINEMA or a large Institution of Journal/Newspaper /TV preferably connected with films; iii) Good knowledge of computer in data management. (Candidates are required to produce evidence of work done/ experience) b) Desirable: i) Good Knowledge of Indian and International Cinema
Pay Scale : Rs.9300- 34800
Age : 32 Years
Skilled Work Assistant/01 Post
Qualification : i) Madhyamik or equivalent of a recognized Board ii) At least two years’ experience of checking of films in a film production or distribution organization or a Motion Picture Laboratory of repute.
Pay Scale : Rs.5200- 20200
Age : 27 years

The Institute was subsequently registered under the West Bengal Societies Registration Act, 1961. Located at Kolkata and named after the legendary film maestro Satyajit Ray, the Institute, the second of its kind in the country, is a National Centre offering post-graduate diploma courses in Film and Television.
