Qualification  :  M.E./M.Tech. in Industrial Safety in First Class with an aggregate minimum of 60% of marks (aggregate of all semesters/years) or CGPA/CPI grading of minimum 6.5 on a 10 point scale AND Pre-eligibility qualification of B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical or Chemical engineering in First Class with an aggregate minimum of 65% of marks (aggregate of all semesters/years) or CGPA/CPI grading of minimum 6.84 on a 10 point scale

Pay :   Rs.56,100-1,77,500/-

Age Limit :  18-35 yrs

Application Fee :  Rs.250/- for General & OBC candidates is to be paid by Challan . No fee for SC/ ST candidates.

Mode of Selection  :  Mode of selection for the post is Interview. However, based on the quantum of On-line applications received, the Centre may adopt the method of conducting initial screening by either/both fixing a higher cut-off percentage of marks scored in the prescribed educational qualification or/and by conducting Written Test for shortlisting the candidates for Interview. The above mode of selection may change as per Govt. of India/DOS orders from time to time. The Written Test / Interview will be conducted in Nagercoil/Mahendragiri only.

It is the major testing hub of ISRO's liquid propulsion systems. The role of IPRC is to carry out research for the development of liquid propulsion systems both for Satellites and Satellite Launch Vehicles. IPRC is equipped with state of the art facilities for the assembly, integration and testing of liquid propulsion systems. It is responsible for the development, qualification and acceptance testing of sub-systems and systems for launch vehicles and spacecraft projects.
