Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Script Development:

Write engaging and well-structured scripts for web series (fictional or nonfictional), short films, and documentary-style videos.

Develop storylines, plot outlines, episode breakdowns, and character arcs based on project briefs or original concepts.

Draft and revise full-length screenplays, pilot episodes, and teaser scripts for video productions.
2. Research and Content Ideation:

Conduct in-depth research on assigned topics, including historical events, social issues, trends, or character backgrounds for authenticity and accuracy.

Collaborate with researchers and directors to gather data, interviews, and factual material for documentaries or informative content.

Suggest original ideas for new video series, episode themes, or interview-based formats in alignment with audience interests and platform goals.
3. Dialogue and Scene Writing:

Write compelling and natural dialogue that matches the tone and voice of characters or interview subjects.

Create dramatic or emotional arcs with attention to pacing, tension, and resolution.

Visualize scenes through vivid descriptions and directions that guide production teams in bringing the script to life.
4. Editing and Revisions:

Revise scripts based on feedback from directors, producers, or clients, while maintaining creative integrity.

Adapt scripts for different formats or platforms (e.g., YouTube, OTT, branded content, short reels).

Edit and refine rough story concepts into finalized screenplays ready for production.
5. Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with production teams, cinematographers, sound designers, and video editors to ensure alignment of script with the final visual output.

Participate in creative brainstorming sessions and pitch ideas to clients or internal stakeholders.

Communicate timelines, script drafts, and revisions in a timely manner.
