A securities broker contacts or is contacted by potential clients.
Explains what services offer and, when a client opens an account, offers advice on the purchase of particular securities.
The broker will then monitor the financial markets, watching the performance of clients’ securities.
Will monitor the markets for initial public offerings, public offerings of previously private companies, mergers and acquisitions.
