Job Description
Job Title: Security Analyst
Location: Bangalore, India (or Remote)
Experience Required: 3–6 years
Reporting To: IT Security Manager / Project Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Security Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong coordination skills, a solid understanding of IT processes, and foundational knowledge in cybersecurity best practices. PMP-certified and Lean Six Sigma awareness will be an added advantage in managing security initiatives and supporting compliance activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in implementing and monitoring security controls across projects and systems.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to security policies and procedures.
Support incident response and root cause analysis of security-related issues.
Maintain project documentation related to security audits, compliance, and risk assessments.
Track and report on security metrics using tools like Google Sheets, Excel, and Jira.
Assist in vendor coordination and follow-ups for security patches, renewals, and updates.
Collaborate with IT and business teams for regular system checks, vulnerability tracking, and mitigation.
Required Skills:
Basic knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.)
Familiarity with CRM systems, documentation, and reporting tools.
Experience managing project activities in Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid environments.
Strong skills in MS Excel, Google Sheets, Jira, and project tracking tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
