Seed Quality Executive
Job Description
1. Continuously evaluate quality systems manual and submit recommendations
2. Develop and implement quality protocols
3. Schedule training and perform delegation of duties of the Quality Assurance team
4. Facilitate all internal auditing and inspections
5. Complete and submit corrective actions post conducting of audits
6. Monitor and ensure that all corrective actions are implemented by respective teams
7. Implement quality protocols and procedures as per Quality Systems Manual.
8. Prepare quality reports for production and foundation seeds production
9. Communicate with departments for any related Quality Assurance issues
10. Establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) for quality
11. Liaison between quality team and hybrid seed production function.
12. Execute complaint management tests from genetic purity perspective.
13. Execute technical trainings in FSS/Moisture tests/ etc to Field QA staff and production.
14. Drive continual improvement projects in Field quality.
15. Support the conduction of GOT and FET based on requirement.
16. Ensure communication of non-conforming products that could represent a significant risk to
customers.
17. Execute plant quality audits at regular intervals to ensure product quality is always being
maintained
18. Supervise and train plant team on ISTA sampling procedures.
19. Monitor precleaning, gravity table, destoner and treater during processing and packing.
- Technical Skills – In depth knowledge of seed production & quality.
- Project & Organization Skills – Able to plan and manage complex projects.
- Analysis & Decision Making - Able to structure data in analyzable form.
- Presentation Skills – Able to make presentation of work done & data collected.
- Communication Skills - Ability to communicate in English & Hindi; knowledge of South Indian language preferred.
- Computer Literacy - Ability to operate windows based computer systems for data management & reporting.
- Interpersonal Skills – Ability to develop and maintain work relationships with associates & across organization.
- Driving & Travelling – Able to drive and agile to travel.
Education: Graduate/Post graduate in Agriculture. With at least 5-6 years of work experience in SEED QUALITY.
Location: Hyderabad and Dhamtri.
