Senior Analyst
Job Description
Designation: Senior Analyst
The team is responsible for Other Comprehensive Income (OCI) projections for stress testing and maintenance and calibration of models that are used in the process (e.g. prepayment models) and related documentation. As part of stress testing exercise, the team is responsible for forecasting inputs/assumptions, Quantitative Risk Management (QRM) platform execution, attribution analysis and reporting.
The analyst would be required to support the planning, modelling and execution of the OCI projection process, support validation of models, perform model testing and ongoing monitoring, investigate valuation and modelling issues, conduct special valuation, modelling and reporting projects and perform ad-hoc analysis and reporting as requested.
The role will interact with key functions across the Firm including Balance Sheet Modelling, Interest Rate Risk, RWA, Capital, Audit, Model Risk Management, and other second line of defence functions. Strong interpersonal skills are required to cultivate relationships with peers in Risk Management, Finance and Corporate Treasury.
Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in a quantitative discipline including engineering, mathematics, statistics, or economics required.
Master s degree or professional certification CFA/FRM preferred.
0-3 years of total work experience preferred.
Demonstrated self-initiative, interest in finance and experience with financial product valuation, statistical modelling, quantitative analysis, big data manipulation and analytics, software programming, regulatory stress testing, and/or asset-liability management within large complex financial organizations would be a plus.
Highly proficient in Excel.
Knowledge of VBA, SQL and Python preferred.
Excellent technical documentation and verbal communication skills preferred.
