Senior Electrician - Thane
Job Description
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, emergency backup systems, and medical-grade electrical equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults in a timely and safe manner to minimize disruption to hospital operations.
Install new wiring, control panels, switches, outlets, and hospital-grade equipment following technical drawings and safety regulations.
Supervise junior electricians and contractors working on-site, ensuring compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and replacements.
Conduct regular inspections and testing of electrical systems, including emergency generators, UPS, and fire alarm systems.
Ensure all electrical work adheres to local codes, standards (e.g., NFPA, NEC), and hospital regulations.
Respond promptly to the emergency maintenance calls, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Collaborate with biomedical engineers, maintenance staff, and clinical departments for coordinated infrastructure support.
