Job Description
Receive, verify, and account for raw materials, solvents, excipients, packing materials, and engineering consumables as per approved procedures.
Perform physical verification of incoming materials against purchase orders, delivery challans, certificates of analysis (CoA), and goods receipt notes (GRN).
Ensure proper status labeling, segregation, and storage of materials based on quarantine, approved, rejected, returned, and expired status.
Coordinate sampling activities with Quality Control and ensure timely release of materials.
Dispense raw materials as per approved dispensing requests and batch requirements while ensuring traceability and reconciliation.
Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, periodic stock verification, and reconciliation activities.
Execute material transactions in ERP systems such as SAP, including GRN creation, material issuance, stock transfers, and inventory adjustments.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with Procurement and Production teams to avoid stock-outs or excess inventory.
Ensure compliance with FEFO/FIFO principles and monitor material shelf life and retest dates.
Maintain warehouse conditions, including temperature and humidity monitoring, housekeeping, and pest control compliance.
Handle hazardous chemicals and solvents in accordance with EHS guidelines and applicable statutory requirements.
Prepare and maintain warehouse documentation, including stock registers, dispensing records, logbooks, and reconciliation reports.
Participate in internal audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections.
Ensure adherence to cGMP, GDP, data integrity requirements, and SOP compliance.
