1. Name of the Post: Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
2. Number of posts: 01
3. Minimum educational qualification: Masters or equivalent degree in any branch of lifesciences with CSIR-NET (Life Sciences)/ GATE (Life Sciences)/ CSIR-JRF/ DBT-JRF/ any other National Level Test conducted by CentralGovernment Departments and their agencies OR equivalent scorecard.
4. Experience: 2 years of research experience in: 1. Agriculturally important insects, their rearing, dissections and bioassays 2. Basic plant molecular biology and biochemistry experimentation 3. Gene cloning, recombinant expression and agro-infiltration 4. Agrobacterium-mediated plant transformation 5. HPLC and LC-MS based analyses 6. Statistical analyses like ANOVA, correlation, etc.
5. Preference: Candidate having at least one peer reviewed international publication will be preferred.
6. Tenure of the appointment: Upto August 19, 2022 which may be extended subject to continuation of the project and satisfactory performance of the incumbent
7. Consolidated emoluments: Rs. 35,000/- + 24% HRA per month
