Qualification : Citizens of India with Ph.D. in the relevant
area (i) Virus diseases (i) Infectious diseases - molecular biology &
diagnosis/therapeutics, experience with BSL 3 facility, virus diagnosis and
research ability is a must, (ii) developmental, neuroscience, and (iii)
geriatric neurobiology, (both with spatio-temporal molecular assessment of
disease biology towards disease target identification and development, with
modern methods in research), with at least 8 years of postdoctoral experience.
Two years of experience in the relevant field in reputed laboratory abroad is
strongly preferred. The Research experience should be evidenced by high impact
publications and/or patents. To lead a team of researchers and to generate
funds for scientific projects and consultancy in one of the fields of
developmental / geriatric neurobiology / electrophysiology / molecular biology
/ virus diagnosis and research independently in IUCBR&SSI-1 is the major
requirements of the job.
Remuneration : Commensurate with experience and achievements in the relevant fields.
