Job Description

Senior Software Engineer Position with about 5-8 years of hands-on technical Experience in owning DevOps activities in Azure PaaS. Working Knowledge of executing the projects in the Agile Methodologies.
Responsibilities

Be able to envision the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements; and be able to define technologies, patterns and frameworks to materialise it.
Design and develop the framework of the system and be able to explain choices made.
Also write and review design document explaining overall architecture, framework and high level design of the application.
Create, understand and validate Design and estimated effort for given module/task, and be able to justify it.
Be able to define in-scope, out-of-scope and taken assumptions while creating effort estimates.
Be able to identify and integrate well over all integration points in context of a project as well as other applications in the environment.
Positions in this function deliver professional level technical work in support of the development of company products, tools, platforms and services, typically for an external customer or end user.
Operates within established methodologies, procedures, and guidelines.
Applies knowledge of principles and techniques to solve technical problems.
Works closely with other functions to understand customer needs and to develop product roadmaps

Requirements

Strong proficiency as a Software Engineer utilising .NET CORE and C# to support as well as design, develop and deploy requested updates to new and existing cloud-based services.
Experience with developing, implementing, monitoring and troubleshooting applications in the Azure Public Cloud.
Proficiency in UI development with an Angular Single Page Application
Experience managing Microsoft Azure environments (VM's, NSG's, Resource Groups)
High degree of knowledge in networking (protocols, virtual networks, subnets, firewalls)
Strong scripting experience (Python, Powershell, Terraform)
Experience with Azure/AWS Container Registry, AKS/EKS
DevOps for Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Blob Storage, Splunk, Docker. Kubernetes, Messaging (Pulsar, Kafka, EventHub).
