Key Responsibilities:
Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders. Work
closely with business units to align technical solutions with business
goals. Understand business processes, identify gaps, and propose
improvements.
Collaborate with technical teams to develop functional specifications for
new systems or enhancements to existing systems. Ensure that the
system architecture is scalable, maintainable, and aligned with
enterprise standards.
Provide technical guidance and oversight to development teams. In
some cases, write or review code (depending on the level of technical
involvement). Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise
during implementation. Ensure proper integration of new solutions with
existing systems.
Work with business stakeholders to define business / system
requirements and translate the specifications into customized
configurations in the target software package. Understand business
process and the needs of the end user and design packaged systems,
custom programs, front-end applications, and integrations that adhere
to best practices and meet user needs.
Implement configurations, applying best practices relative to the
application, with appropriate integration and configuration management
across the platform. Perform comprehensive testing to ensure that
solutions function as intended and do not introduce any undesired
behavior.
Coordinate with stakeholders and cross functional technical teams to
achieve defined outcomes. Collaborate with stakeholders (e.g.,
executives, project managers, clients) to understand business needs.
User interviews, workshops, surveys, and document analysis to gather
detailed business and technical requirements. Evaluate and prioritize
requirements based on business value, feasibility, and risk.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following qualifications:
Minimum of 8 years of handson experience configuring and designing
solutions for financial systems, including Oracle EBS Finance, SAP
Concur, and MarkView.
Strong functional expertise across Oracle EBS R12 Finance modules,
including Accounts Payable, Purchasing, iProcurement, AGIS, Accounts
Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, General Ledger, Project
Accounting, Oracle Time and Labor, and OPM Costing.
Expertise with SAP Concur and MarkView for financial process and
workflow automation.
Proven ability to analyze business processes, translate requirements
into functional/technical specifications, and resolve process gaps using
standard application functionality.
Strong understanding of core finance processes, including ProcuretoPay,
OrdertoCash, and RecordtoReport.
Working knowledge of Oracle Supply Chain modules (preferred).
Proficiency in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL for data analysis, validation, and
troubleshooting.
Experience with system integrations, including APIs and XMLbased
templates.
Familiarity with SAFe Agile methodologies (preferred).
Experience working in a SOXcontrolled environment (preferred).
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with users at all levels to gather
requirements and deliver timely, highquality solutions.
Strong analytical and creative problemsolving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Education
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Finance, Accounting, Computer
Science, or a related field
