As a Senior Test Automation Engineer is responsible for piloting, implementing & maintaining topics, that arise from APMO Team in regards of Test automation infrastructure and CI/CD pipeline. Identify technical gaps in the tools. Perform technical PoC (like JIRA, Confluence, X-Ray, Incident Mgmt. Tools) and provide solutions quickly. Data Migration from legacy to new tools. Perform PoC on JIRA Plugins (for different tools and formats written in Java based on our Guidelines and stored in code.siemens.com) Wrapper and adaptions, incl. IaC static code Checks written in python or java stored in code.siemens.com Adaptions written in java and JavaScript stored in code.siemens.com Functions for analysis and reporting of test data within CI/CD pipeline written in Node.js/Java/Python/Go/C# hosted in cloud space (i.e. AWS) Versioning of automated test cases with baselining in Test Mgmt. Tool and Code Repository User and Password Management for test accounts with usage of global Configuration Management. We don’t need superheroes, just super minds · Qualification: BE / B. Tech / MCA / ME / M. Tech Knowledge: · Knowledge in research and development processes (Software based solutions and products) ; · Knowledge in expert functions like Software Development / Architecture, Software Testing · Knowledge in Devops. · Exposure to and working experience in the relevant Siemens sector domain (Industry, Energy, Infrastructure and Cities) required. · Knowledge in global projects and collaboration with intercultural team is preferred. Experience: Cloud infrastructure experience on AWS, Azure IAM users/groups/service accounts and their differences Networking and VPCs, concepts of public vs. private IPs Security, ACLs, firewalls Automation; VM setup/teardown, scripting, platform tools (AWS CloudFormation/Azure Resource Manager). Exposure to 3rd party tools like Terraform, JIRA Plugins, Data Migration tools Experience in Lambda, Kinesis Keywords- Devops, load balancer, serverless architecture, kubernetes, auto scaling, compute engine, cloud storage, spanner, CI/CD, Jenkins, puppet, GitLab Experience in UI automation/API automation: JUnit, Cucumber, Selenium, SoapUI, Protractor Programming Languages: Bash/Shell Scripting Python, Ruby, PowerShell, Java, Node JS, C# Continuous Integration: Jenkins, TeamCity, Eclipse, Jenkins, Git runner.
