Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced SEO executive to join our digital marketing team. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring our SEO strategy to increase our online presence, organic traffic, and conversions.

You will work closely with other marketing professionals, content writers, web developers, and designers to ensure that our website and content are optimized for search engines and users. You will also conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, link building, and performance reporting.

To be successful in this role, you should have a solid understanding of SEO best practices, tools, and trends. You should also have excellent content writing skills, and the ability to create high-quality and engaging content for various platforms and audiences. You should also have the ability to build and maintain niche backlinks from relevant and authoritative sources.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Keyword Research and Strategy

  • Conduct detailed keyword research to identify high-performing search terms related to the company’s products or services.

  • Analyze competitor keywords, search intent, and content gaps to optimize website targeting.

  • Use tools like Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Ubersuggest to build a keyword strategy.

2. On-Page SEO

  • Optimize website content, meta titles, meta descriptions, header tags (H1–H6), alt tags, and URLs for target keywords.

  • Ensure proper internal linking, keyword density, and schema markup implementation.

  • Collaborate with the content team to create SEO-friendly blog posts, landing pages, and product descriptions.

  • Improve website crawlability and indexation using robots.txt and sitemap optimization.

3. Off-Page SEO

  • Execute link-building strategies such as guest posting, directory submissions, classified ads, social bookmarking, and outreach campaigns.

  • Identify and collaborate with relevant bloggers, influencers, or webmasters to build quality backlinks.

  • Monitor backlinks regularly for spam, toxic links, and disavow harmful links if needed.

4. Technical SEO

  • Conduct regular SEO audits to identify and fix crawl errors, broken links, slow loading pages, and mobile usability issues.

  • Work with web developers to improve website performance metrics like Core Web Vitals, mobile responsiveness, and site speed.

  • Implement structured data and rich snippets for better visibility in SERPs.

5. SEO Analytics and Reporting

  • Track and measure SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Moz.

  • Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic, bounce rates, and conversion rates.

  • Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations.

  • Set KPIs and goals to track progress over time and demonstrate ROI.

6. Competitor and Industry Analysis

  • Analyze competitors’ websites, backlink profiles, content strategies, and search rankings.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, Google algorithm changes, and best practices in SEO.

  • Adapt strategies to align with new SEO developments and search engine guidelines.

7. Local SEO (If Applicable)

  • Optimize Google My Business (GMB) profile, local citations, and location-based keywords.

  • Encourage and manage online reviews and ratings.

  • Ensure consistent NAP (Name, Address, Phone Number) information across all platforms.

8. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with content writers, designers, web developers, and the social media team to align SEO goals with broader marketing strategies.

  • Participate in content planning meetings and suggest topics based on keyword opportunities and search intent.

  • Support the paid marketing team with organic landing page optimizations.
