Job Description:

Basic knowledge of the Windows servers 2012 R2.
Basic knowledge of Active Directory Concepts.
Experience with Active Directory and group policies
Maintenance and deployment of the Ms Windows OS ( Physical / virtual)
Responsible for daily operations of Windows-based servers running in a mixed physical and virtual (VMware ESX) environment.
Installation/Upgrade and maintenance of Windows Operating system
Installation and configuration of IIS 6, II7
Co-ordinating with Hardware vendor for regular maintenance of server hardware and resolving hardware issues
Windows Security Patch and Antivirus installation.
Troubleshooting of Windows Server related issues.
Responsible for the implementation, operation, maintenance, backup, system security and system integrity of Microsoft Operating systems.
Monitoring of Servers using the tools.
Ongoing management and maintenance of Windows servers.
Execute pre-defined tasks and tasks as instructed.
Recover from minor system failures/partial failures.
Day to Day Monitoring of Servers Parameters, Log Monitoring, Alert Tracking, Users ID Management.
Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and application availability; Reviewing systems logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups and FTP file transfer.
Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions. ( Antivirus Udation )
Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media,
Perform regular file archival and purge as necessary.
Create, change, and delete user accounts per request.
Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade
Configure/add new services as necessary.
Maintain operational, configuration, or other procedures.
Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required.
