Job Description
The Sales Order Management Executive is responsible for processing customer purchase orders and details and creating sales orders accurately and efficiently in SAP, ensuring smooth coordination with sales, logistics, and finance to meet delivery commitments and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Order Processing
Processing of purchase orders and sales orders
Entry and validation of data for sales orders
Verification and understanding of rebates and discounts
Good idea about credit holds and co-ordination with different stakeholders
Assigning stock to orders in consultation with sales if required
2. Delivery Order Processing
Creation of delivery orders
Verification of stock and inventory
Knowledge about ship to and sold to” details of customers
Knowledge about order fulfilment
3. Delivery Order Changes
Process delivery order changes as per instructions from sales
4. Qualifications and Skills
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounts, Supply Chain, or related field
1–3 years of experience in sales order processing or a related role
Prior experience in order management, MS Office applications, and any SAP-ERP software as an end user is a plus
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
Good communication skills for coordination with internal teams and external teams
Ability to prioritize tasks and work under tight deadlines
Experience in interaction and collaboration with customers, sales, and logistics for resolving order-related issues
