Your Role and Responsibilities
Working closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions that are aligned with business and IT strategies. Gathering and documenting user and process requirements, functional requirements, and developing technical requirements. Developing workflow customizations, and supporting the Service transformation teams. The SME should assume other roles as needed i.e. Business Analyst, Interim Project Manager, Admin/Developer, and tester as required.

Your Role and Responsibilities
Working closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions that are aligned with business and IT strategies. Gathering and documenting user and process requirements, functional requirements, and developing technical requirements. Developing workflow customizations, and supporting the Service transformation teams. The SME should assume other roles as needed i.e. Business Analyst, Interim Project Manager, Admin/Developer, and tester as required.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for coding, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting changes in the application. The ServiceNow SME will be responsible for core system configuration.
- Implementation of ServiceNow
- Customize ServiceNow applications and facilitate rollout of new applications and modules and configure Application UI and Configure Workflow
- Collaborate effectively with other ServiceNow administrators to develop solutions and handle general updates and configuration changes/requests
- Identify system deficiencies and recommend solutions
- Ensure the latest release of ServiceNow application is implemented in a timely manner with minimal or no disruption to IT operations
- Maintenance and continuous improvement of the processes, standards, policies, working methods, and tools
- Ensure appropriate tools and processes are in place to have a development/production environment that is reliable and reproducible
- Ensure tool configuration consistency across development, QA, and production environments
- Participate in ongoing production support and end user support.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Minimum 5+ years of overall IT experience with relevant experience of 4 years in IT architecture
- In-depth understanding of and experience working with IT Service Management processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Release, SLM, Service Catalog)
- Hands-on experience in implementing, configuring and customizing Web Technologies (XML, HTML, JAVA Script, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, etc.)
- Ability Demonstrate knowledge of JavaScripts
- Proficient in integration of disparate systems using SOAP and REST APIs along with scripted Webservices
- Working knowledge of Mid-Server Configuration to facilitate REST calls CMDB configuration and integration
- Proven experience in custom application development along with client Side and server-side scripting along with flow designer
- Expertise in developing workflows, business rules, UI Pages, UI actions and catalog
- In-depth knowledge of UI design and strong UI programming skills along with Service Portal configuration and Reporting and Analytics
- Preferred knowledge of CMDB and Domain Separation
- Servicenow Admin Certification / Servicenow Implementation Certification preferred
