Principals Job in Sikkim PSC at Gangtok

Applications are invited from the eligible local candidates for filling up 09 (nine) posts of Principals of various Government Colleges on temporary-regular basis in Level-13-A of the UGC Pay Matrix under Education Department, Government of Sikkim, through Direct Recruitment. 3. Minimum Educational Qualification: 

a) (i) Post Graduate Degree in any subject with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade AND

(ii) Consistently good academic record AND

(iii) Ph. D. Degree AND

(iv) 15 (fifteen) years of College Teaching/Administrative Experience.

b) (i) Post Graduate Degree in LAW with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade AND

(ii) Consistently good academic record AND

(iii) Ph. D. Degree in LAW AND

(iv) 15 (fifteen) years of College Teaching/Administrative Experience.

c) (i) Post Graduate Degree in Sanskrit or Nepali with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade AND

(ii) Consistently good academic record AND

(iii) Ph. D. Degree in Sanskrit or Nepali AND

(iv) 15 (fifteen) years of College Teaching/Administrative Experience.

4. Desirable Qualifications:

(a) Honours at the Degree level.

(b) Knowledge in any one of the local languages viz. Nepali or Lepcha or Sikkimese Bhutia or Limboo.

Age Limit:

Should not have exceeded the age of 50 years (relaxable by 5 years for Government servant) as on 30/09/2021 in terms of Notification No: 20/GEN/DOP dated: 15/06/1995.
