About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented fresher Site Supervisor to oversee the execution of interior design projects across multiple sites. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the day-to-day operations on-site run smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for coordinating with vendors, contractors, and design teams, managing materials and resources, and ensuring work is progressing according to schedule and specifications.
This is a hands-on supervisory role that demands strong organizational skills, a clear understanding of interior fit-out processes, and the ability to communicate effectively with both field workers and office staff. You will act as the bridge between the design vision and its real-world implementation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Site Supervision & Execution

Oversee all interior work activities on-site including carpentry, civil, electrical, plumbing, painting, flooring, and modular installations.

Ensure that the work is being carried out as per the approved drawings, specifications, and design intent.

Monitor the progress of the project daily and ensure timelines are being followed.

Resolve any technical issues, work delays, or conflicts that arise on-site in coordination with your senior or the design team.
2. Daily Reporting

Prepare and submit daily work reports to your senior/project manager, including details of:

Work completed

Labor on-site
-
Pending issues
-
Material availability and usage
-
Any deviation or incident that occurred

Maintain daily logs of progress and site conditions through photographs and notes.
3. Material & Inventory Management
-
Check whether all necessary materials, furniture, and equipment are available on-site in the required quantities and quality.

Coordinate with the procurement or logistics team to request material orders or replenishments in advance to prevent delays.

Inspect materials upon delivery for quality and compliance with specifications.

Prevent wastage of materials and ensure secure storage on-site.
4. Contractor & Labor Coordination

Supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors, skilled workers, and laborers.

Ensure that all personnel follow safety rules and standard working procedures.

Allocate tasks to the right people based on skills and project priorities.

Keep track of labor attendance and productivity levels on a daily basis.
5. Quality Control

Check the quality of work regularly and ensure all finishes meet the design standards and client expectations.

Conduct site inspections at every stage of the project and flag any substandard work immediately.

Ensure corrective measures are taken wherever required.
6. Communication & Coordination

Act as the main point of contact on-site for the design team, clients, and external contractors.

Communicate client feedback, design updates, and instructions from the office team clearly to on-site workers.

Coordinate with electricians, plumbers, painters, and other specialists to ensure smooth workflow.
7. Health & Safety Compliance
-
Maintain a clean and hazard-free site at all times.

Ensure all labor and contractors follow safety protocols and wear the necessary PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).

Address any unsafe practices or working conditions immediately.
