Software Developer job Position in Tata Institute of
Social Sciences (TISS) Fixed term contract basis

Qualifications : Any Graduate with relevant
certification and work experience in related field
Prior Experience : Minimum 3 years in related field
Technical Skills : 1. Expertise in HTML, JavaScript,
PHP, jQuery, MySQL, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, JSON 2. Expertise in Web Application
development and / or software development 3. Understanding and Experience of
object oriented programming / modular programming 4. Good understanding of CSS
and frameworks 5. Experience of Ajax. 6. Experience of the full software
development lifecycle: from requirements gathering and functional specification
7. Knowledge of the Linux command line 8. Experience of IDE for PHP such as
Netbeans /Eclipse. 9. Experience of Software Support is added advantage. 10.
Experience in common third-party APIs 11. Familiarity with various operating
systems (e.g. Windows, UNIX) 12. Experience on native android development 13.
Knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices. 14.
Experience in education industry 15. Experience with clustered LAMP stack 16.
Experience of ASP.NET development would be an added advantage. 17. Worked on
Amazon Web Services.
Annual CTC : Between the range of 2.5 to 3.5 lac.P.a
